ZPEY ULTIMO WF SINGLE HAND - CURRY/ORANGE

«Zpey Ultimo» is a perfect line for beginners, for fishing in narrow rivers, for combining overhead and spey casting and for most other trout fishing conditions. This Weight Forward line has a relatively short head that is tapered in a rather unique way. It's easy to lift from the water, a dream to cast and it shoots like greased lightning. The reason for Zpey Ultimo's amazing shooting capabilities is a combination of the already mentioned tapering of the head and the slickest coating in the history of fly lines. The secret of this coating will, of course, stay a secret, but we can add that it requires far less line cleaning than normal coatings and this came as a relief to me and has done so to other lazy fly fishers over the last few years.
The combination of a soft core and a soft coating has resulted in a line with a certain elasticity and this quality has provided an almost unbelievable lack of memory (it just won't coil). With this WF-line we also presented Zpey's new LRS-system (LRS = Line Reference System). In the loading zone of these lines, you will find a number of black marks corresponding to the weight class of each line (a # 4 line will have 4 marks, a # 6 line will have 6 marks etc.). In this way you will always know exactly what line you are fishing with). The beginning of the first black mark is where the head ends and the loading zone of the running line starts and it's therefore easy to determine when the head is just outside the tip of the rod while casting. A bright orange head, a bright yellow running line and the already mentioned black LRS marks, gives us a three coloured, ultra slick, high quality WF-line with more advantages than any other line on the market (except for the two other WF-lines from Zpey, of course).
